To protect is to defend something valuable from harm. The continuous rotation of arrows represents this perimeter of defense around our irreplaceable historic resources. We step forward when rare sites, structures, or landscapes are threatened. Through legislative participation, community development programs such Sites Worth Saving, special events, resource guides and the efforts of our dedicated members we can protect the places that matter to you. Our devoted volunteers lend a hand at events, serve on committees, submit stories and photos, and do countless other things to protect Minnesota’s historic sites.
