To promote is to contribute to the process of growth and renewal. The outward arrows represent the idea of spreading and releasing ideas, information, and knowledge. We work to educate citizens about heritage preservation and historic sites. We also develop networks among people and organizations to help increase awareness of state history, community preservation, and important community values. Tours such as our Pam-o-rama series promote great historic places and the people who keep them intact today. Through our quarterly magazine, The Minnesota Preservationist, Preservation E-News, Minnesota Downtown E-News, PAM blog,  Facebook page, and Twitter posts, we provide prompt updates about the latest preservation happenings across the state.  In addition, PAM gives out the Minnesota Preservation Awards annually to recognize great achievements in preservation. Through promotion, we raise awareness of significant historic sites. Promoting historic places is a great way to help preserve them.
