Instameets

Instameet_PAM_logoWhat is an Instameet? It’s a curated outing for statewide photographers and instagrammers to experience and photograph Minnesota’s unique places. Think of it as an exclusive, one-time opportunity to connect with a beloved old building, historic downtown, or entire community.

How does it work? Preservation Alliance of Minnesota partners with MNCommunity and a Minnesota city or town to create an all-access exploratory adventure into its historic buildings and landscapes. Registration is usually capped around 50 so it’s important to register early! We will frequently post updates on upcoming Instameets and registration on our facebook page.

As part Instameet series, we’ll be holding friendly post-event photo competitions for participating photographers to show off their images and points of view from Minnesota communities. We’ll select our favorite views from and honor the winners with giveaways from partner organizations. By participating, you grant the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota use of your winning images (with attributing credit to photographer) for future promotions and marketing of this and other preservation programming or events.

It’s really all about connecting people to places.
