Minnesota African American Museum and Culture Center (MAAM) opens soon in the Historic Coe Mansio

The long-awaited  Minnesota African American Museum and Culture Center plans to open officially in August, but you can get a sneak peek on Saturday, June 2nd (10am-6pm) during the museum’s Legacy Festival. The festival will include a preview of the museum’s first exhibit, “Bringing It Home: A Retrospective of Black ‘n Brown Baseball in Minnesota.” The museum’s home is the historic Coe Mansion, a Queen Anne manor in Stevens Square.
