City of Minneapolis Announces Plan to Survey Historic Resources

The city has announced a series of community meetings to help identify historic resources in Minneapolis neighborhoods. These meetings are an attempt to identify unknown resources, recommend properties for additional study, and develop strategies to guide historic preservation and neighborhood planning.

The neighborhoods that may be impacted by this:

Camden Community Survey: Victory, Shingle Creek, Webber-Camden, Lind-Bohanon, Folwell, McKinley and Cleveland neighborhoods as well as the Humboldt Industrial Area.

Central Core Survey: St. Anthony West, Marcy-Holmes, Como, Downtown West, Downtown East, Sumner Glenwood, Bryn Mawr, Harrison, Near North, North Loop and Prospect Park neighborhoods.

Southwest Minneapolis: Windom, Kenny and Armatage neighborhoods.
